Here are the essential guidelines for preparing your file for individually pre-cut stickers β whether as Kiss Cut or sticker sheets:
1. File format and dimensions
Create a file in the final size of your sheet, with all the stickers already placed inside.
β
Recommended formats:
AI or EPS (vector files highly recommended)
PDF or SVG: accepted only if elements are properly vectorised
π· Accepted image formats (ideal 300 DPI β min. 200 DPI):
Preferred: JPG, TIFF, EPS, PSD
Also accepted (if high resolution): PNG, BMP
2. Cut lines (if a specific shape is required)
β’ Create a vector cut line in magenta on a separate layer
β’ Add 1 mm bleed around each design to avoid white edges
β’ Leave 2 mm of safety margin around text and important elements
π These rules also apply if youβre using a background image, colour or text on your sheet or Kiss Cut layout.
3. Arranging multiple stickers on a sheet
β’ Leave 5 mm of space between each sticker
β’ Leave 5 mm of outer margin around the sheet
β’ All stickers must be placed on a single page/file at the final sheet size
Kiss Cut (simple) β without background text or graphics

Kiss Cut with background β with text or artwork around the sticker

Sticker sheet (multiple stickers) β without background text or graphics
π If youβre creating a sheet with a background/flyer (image, text, photo), the same rules apply as with Kiss Cut:
Always leave a 2 mm safety margin around important elements to avoid unintentional cutting.
4. Want to repeat one design multiple times on a sheet?
β
No problem!
Just send us your sticker file in the final size you want.
Our graphics team will handle the duplication and arrange them with the correct spacing.
5. How to calculate the right sheet size?
β’ Take your sticker dimensions (e.g. 5 Γ 5 cm)
β’ Add 5 mm space between stickers and 5 mm outer margin
β’ Decide how many stickers per sheet (e.g. 3 columns Γ 4 rows = 12 stickers)
π© Practical formula:
Sheet width = (Sticker width + 0.5 cm) Γ Number of columns + 0.5 cm
Sheet height = (Sticker height + 0.5 cm) Γ Number of rows + 0.5 cm
Example: Sticker size: 5 Γ 5 cm
Layout: 3 columns Γ 4 rows
Width = (5 + 0.5) Γ 3 + 0.5 = 16 cm
Height = (5 + 0.5) Γ 4 + 0.5 = 22.5 cmβ So you should order a sheet of 16 Γ 22.5 cm
π‘ Yeti Tip: For easy handling (e.g. giveaways or packaging), we recommend a sheet size close to A4 (21 Γ 29.7 cm).
